welcome to
URGE II Studios opened it's doors in 1999. We have been serving Edmonton with kick-ass tattoos everyday of the week ever since.
We have picked a tentative date for the ever popular free day, we're thinking October 23rd. Stay tuned for details.
You asked for it, you got it! In an effort to get our clients taken care of in a more timely fashion, we are now trying to have an artist available every Sunday strictly for walk ins. Johnny has been trying it out for the last couple weeks and its going groovy and some fun pieces are coming out. Its a first come /first serve basis, and generally speaking simpler one off pieces preferred. Don't come in and want a back piece rattled off, that just ain't gonna happen, but we'll make every effort to get some cool stuff done for you! Also, this is gonna be a permanent thing, but in August a bunch of us are taking some much needed time off to soak up some of the summer action, so call first to make sure we have somebody in for the particular Sunday you want. See you there!/p>
The summer shaker was good fun, with a minimum of drunken hammer game injuries reported, so well done all! A special thanks to Ben the laser wolf for going above and beyond on the growlie front, he busted his narrow ass all day in the kitchen, and the results spoke for themselves. Anyone interested in hot tub diving lessons should contact Urge2's own Esther Williams look-a-like; Lucy, who with some special help from her (nose-first) assistant Grizelda, demonstrated flawless form on the tub entry procedures. Perfect scores all around!
Thanks to all the troops that came in and signed the petition to help fight the loud pipes bylaw here in Edmonchuck. I don't know if we got the numbers needed for a repeal, but hopefully there is enough there to make city hall take another look at this blatantly discriminatory cash grab, and send a message to the boys in blue to lighten up a little. Thanks to Lianne for ramrodding it. Give em hell girl!!

Leave the bandage on for 2 - 4 hours.
Remove bandage carefully and wash area gently but thoroughly with warm water and mild soap.
Pat the wound dry gently with paper towel or a clean towel. Always pat, don’t rub, you don’t want to irritate your fresh tattoo.
Ensuring your hands are clean, apply a small amount of ointment to the tattoo and rub it in , ensuring the whole area is covered, but don’t use too much. The goal is to lubricate and protect, not drown the skin.
We recommend using barricare or tat wax, or one of the many tattoo specific aftercare products available. don’t use straight petroleum jelly ( traps bacteria next to skin ), or bactroban ( too strong ).
Continue using the ointment 3 - 5 times a day as required till the tattoo is completely healed.
Don’t rebandage the tattoo unless your clothing / work environment is irritating it. If you do need to rebandage for protection, use non adherent dressings such as dri-locs or telfa pads and change frequently.
